A little over a year ago now Candace went through an unbelievable medical ordeal at seven years old where she underwent fourteen surgeries to fight a strange infection that had taken over her body after a complication of the flu. This is the archives of that event and the current history of Candace Joy and how the Lord has worked through her life to touch over three million people through this very website during her intense fight for life. Our family has been blessed by the countless hours of dedication and research that has been done on behalf of the life of Candace Joy. In order to return a portion of that blessing we assisted in setting up the “Candace Joy Children’s Fund” which will go specifically and locally, to support pediatric programs and research at Shands Children’s Hospital.
